Thanks to the crowdfunding campaign carried out at the end of the 2024 academic year, students from Africa who were able to realize their dream of studying abroad took part in Gaigosai 2025 under clear autumn skies, together with exchange students Aurelie, Ade and Victor. They eagerly helped promote the food stall run by students from the Africa Studies program.

Paul and Jato, who also came to Japan as exchange students and are now enrolled as regular students, joined the photo as well (left).

Aurelie helped advertise the stall while dressed in traditional African attire.

Now that the festival has ended, they seem busy with the classes they are taking, including Japanese-language courses. All of them are studying hard with heartfelt gratitude for your support.
